HUNTED Pillar Pursuit Guide

Prepare for Pillar Pursuit, learn the current route before spending StunOrb uses, and separate completion, Illusion Breaker, and S Rank goals.

Pillar Pursuit is the official HUNTED place with ID 91086002169354. Its current badges confirm a normal completion goal, Pillar S Rank, and Illusion Breaker for destroying 10 illusions with the StunOrb. Those records establish the tool and target, but not where the StunOrb appears, how many uses are available, which targets count, or how the stage scores a run.

Start with route reconnaissance

Use a normal attempt to locate the objective flow, major pillar or room landmarks, safe junctions, and any StunOrb source shown by the current build. Do not spend a limited tool on the first object that looks like an illusion until the game demonstrates the interaction.

Build a short loop around a stable landmark and note where the stage changes section. Pillar Pursuit is newer than the earlier public stages, so older all-chapter walkthroughs may not include it or may show an earlier build.

Identify a valid illusion

The badge wording is specific: destroy 10 illusions with the StunOrb. A visual decoy, enemy, prop, or effect should not be counted unless the current game recognizes it as an illusion and the StunOrb destroys it. Watch for a counter, badge progress, visible destruction, or repeatable response.

Use a practice action to learn range, aiming, activation, and whether one use can affect more than one target. Those mechanics are not public facts yet. If a source claims exact uses or spawn locations, compare them with the live build before planning the full challenge.

Plan the Illusion Breaker attempt

Once you know the valid target and tool behavior, map at least 10 opportunities by area. Keep a simple count tied to landmarks. Avoid spending uses on ordinary threats unless the current objective requires it. If the tool is limited, preserve enough for the mapped illusions.

The official badge does not say “in one gameplay,” unlike Teddy Defuser. That difference is real, but it does not prove progress persists across sessions. Check the live UI and badge behavior before assuming either persistent or single-run counting.

After the tenth recognized destruction, finish any required stage objective and check your Roblox profile. The award record is stronger evidence than a personal count.

Complete Pillar Pursuit

For a normal clear, follow the current objective sequence and separate collection from illusion interactions. If the remaining objective is unclear, recheck the map and stage prompt before searching every corridor for another shard. A tool challenge may be optional.

When chased or pressured, move toward a known junction and preserve the route back to the last complete area. The public sources do not yet settle the current monster identity, count, AI, or phase behavior, so the guide does not assign unsupported tactics.

Build a Pillar S Rank record

Pillar S Rank confirms the rank exists. Complete a normal run and record the result fields. Improve route overlap, captures, collection order, and time only as the current score display supports them. Do not assume Illusion Breaker is part of S Rank.

Hold mode and difficulty constant between tests. If the result changes after one cleaner run, repeat it before writing a threshold. Verify the badge on your profile.

Recovery after tool mistakes

If you spend a StunOrb use without destroying a recognized illusion, use the attempt to learn the rest of the route. At the next checkpoint or restart, check whether tool uses and challenge progress reset. If the badge target becomes impossible, do not waste more resources trying to rescue an unverified count.

If a claimed illusion does not respond, confirm the tool, aim, range, and current stage state. It may be a different object or require another condition. Avoid turning visual resemblance into fact.

Common mistakes

  • Counting a visual effect as an illusion without a recognized StunOrb result.
  • Spending the tool before mapping enough targets.
  • Assuming progress persists because the badge omits “one gameplay.”
  • Combining first clear, S Rank, and Illusion Breaker on an unknown route.
  • Using an older chapter video as proof of the current build.

Use Challenge Badges for the exact Illusion Breaker wording and S Rank for score testing. The separate Pillar Pursuit PvP guide covers official Monster/Mortal win badges created after the story-stage badges.

Verification status and sources

Official: place ID, completion badge, Pillar S Rank, and the 10 illusions with the StunOrb condition. Community reported: Pillar Pursuit is treated as the newest current story stage. Needs in-game testing: route, valid illusion identity, tool acquisition and uses, progress persistence, monster behavior, checkpoints, normal completion, and S Rank thresholds.
